Delve into ancient history with an imposing statement piece built for the modern warrior. This substantial, heavy solid silver men's bangle features masterfully detailed finials inspired by two ancient ram bracelets from 475BC–400BC discovered in Cyprus.
In antiquity, the ram symbolised raw power, determination, and creative vitality. To preserve that old-world soul, we do not give this piece a high, reflective factory shine. Instead, it is purposefully oxidised in the recesses and hand-burnished to achieve a darkened rustic finish that makes the intricate facial contours stand out.
Specifications & Dimensions
- Material: Solid 925 Sterling Silver. Fully hallmarked at the London Assay Office to guarantee precious metal purity.
- Bangle Thickness: A thick, robust round band measuring approximately 6mm in diameter.
- Weight: Between 88g and 106g depending on the selected size. This is an incredibly weighty, solid luxury piece that feels significant on the arm.
- Sizing Note: Due to the historical cuff style, the ram heads sit very close together. Even though it is open-ended, it cannot be bent or adjusted. Please treat this as a "closed bangle" and consult our sizing menu before buying.
- Packaging: Arrives beautifully presented in a SilverfireUK gift box, perfect for gifting or safe keeping.
- Creation & Delivery: Made to order in our Sussex workshop. Please allow approximately 20 working days for us to hand-carve, cast, and polish your piece before tracked UK dispatch.
Measuring Guide:
Our Ram’s Bangle is more like a ‘closed bangle’, therefore to get the correct size you need to measure the widest part of your hand (not your wrist); this is because the bangle will need to be put on over your hand to reach your wrist. When measuring fold your thumb towards your palm and towards your little finger while keeping your other fingers as straight as possible. Measure the widest part. If you are uncertain we recommend going to a local jeweller to get a proper measurement for a closed bangle.
Made to Order:
Because this item is handmade each piece may vary slightly, making each bangle unique, but the overall design will remain the same. The time-frames for completion are for guidance only as it can vary with handmade items.
Please allow approx 20 working days for dispatch as this gives us the time to make your bangle and have it hallmarked at the assay office..
