Hallmarking

Under the UK Hallmarking Act 1973, it is an offence to describe an item as a precious metal unless it is officially hallmarked or falls under the legal weight exemption thresholds. We strictly comply with UK law to guarantee the authenticity of our jewellery.  In compliance with the Hallmarking Act (1973), at SilverfireUK, all items of Silver, Gold, Platinum & Palladium over the mandatory weight thresholds are fully hallmarked to comply with these standards. Items under the mandatory thresholds are legally exempt from physical hallmarking.
